Honored by the Armed Police Force Women's Association

 

Kathmandu, Nepal - On July 2, 2023, the Armed Police Force Women's Association held a ceremony in Kathmandu to celebrate its 22nd Anniversary. The association honored Saru Subedi, President of Tulasadevi Harihar Foundation in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, amongst other notable social and humanitarian actors, for their significant contributions to humanitarian efforts.



The honored organizations were recognized for their exceptional services in providing shelter and aid to the helpless and underprivileged individuals in society. Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, presented the honors to the heads of these organizations during the event.
Deputy Mayor Dangol also expressed her satisfaction that the Armed Police Force Women's Association has been actively engaged in various service-orientated activities, focusing on children, women empowerment, and in areas such as education, health, environment, and sports, benefiting the entire country.
During the ceremony, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Raju Aryal, awarded the certificates and prizes to the female National Service Armed Police personnel, including the women's half marathon race winners to celebrate the association's anniversary.
Anita Lamichhane Aryal, President of the Armed Policer Force Women's Association, expressed deep gratitude to the governmental, and non-governmental organizations, and esteemed individuals who have supported the association's diverse service activities. She also presented awards and certificates to successful public and private school students who achieved excellent marks in the SEE examination.
